Helping Horses and Humans become better partners
Through a holistic, horse centered approach to horsemanship, we help people become better partners to their horses. Located in beautiful Cle Elum, just over the Cascade mountains, we are close to the Washington State Horse Park. This gives us access to hours of trail riding, several large arenas and many horse events.
Lessons
Susann will show you how to be safe around your horse. She will teach you how to ask so the horse understands what you want him to do. And she will give you the secrets of the horse language.
Horsemanship Classes
Our weekly horsemanship classes offer a low key environment for child and parent to learn everything about horses – from catching, grooming, tacking up to groundwork and riding. Groups are small (maximum of 5 students) to ensure an engaging learning environment as well as an appropriate amount of instructor time for each child. We cover topics like nutrition and basic healthcare for our equine friends to prepare students for future horse ownership. Hands-on parents are welcome!
Boarding
About 4 acres are dedicated to boarding horses. Equine residents share the barn with chickens, goats and rabbits. Boarded horses enjoy 24/7 herd turnout with access to shelter, lots of good quality hay and access to fresh well water.
Equine Training
We strive to work with horses in a way that emphasizes their strengths and helps them to become more confident in areas that cause them to worry. Our goal is to educate the horse so they can be the best version of themselves and a good partner to their human companion.
Guided Trail Rides
Explore the beautiful Cle Elum forests and landscape on horseback! Our natural horsemanship trained horses know the area well, so you can enjoy a magical and relaxing ride.
